During the Spring Festival of 2022, 22 graduate students from the College of Construction Engineering stayed in school for the New Year. In order to create a festive and peaceful atmosphere for the Chinese New Year, and to make every student stay at school have a warm feeling of “spending New Year at home”, the college carried out a Chinese New Year greeting activity for the graduate students staying at school in the morning of January 29th, based on the implementation of the normal epidemic prevention and control requirements, to send a strong warmth to the students staying at school.
Executive President Guo Wei, Vice Secretary of Party Committee Yan Guodong, Vice President Wang Boxin, Vice President Cao Pinlu, Director of Postgraduate General Office Wang Huidi and Secretary of Civic Affairs Tang Haiyan came to the students’ dormitory together to inspect the study and living environment of the staying postgraduates, to distribute the College’s New Year blessing gift pack to the students and to give the New Year wishes.
The sympathy team talked with the postgraduates and asked them about their accommodation, food, and scientific research. Executive President Guo Wei put forward several wishes to graduate students staying in school: First, always pay attention to the safety of dormitories and laboratories, and tighten the heartstrings of epidemic prevention and control; second, maintain a good attitude, make full use of the time spent in school to strengthen scientific research, and live up to the youthfulness; third, students staying in school should care for each other and keep in touch with their families and teachers at all times, so that the college can rest assured and parents can rest assured.
Sending sincere condolences during the New Year, with thick care warming people’s hearts. Graduate students staying on campus express their gratitude for the teachers’ condolences. They feel the warmth of home through the simple greetings. Everyone will bear in mind the advice of the college, reasonably arrange their holiday lives, cooperate with the school’s epidemic prevention requirements, and maintain good health. With a positive attitude, they will spend a safe, healthy, and fulfilling New Year on campus.
