简介

王常明，1966年10月生于浙江绍兴，工学博士，教授，土木工程专业、地质灾害防治工程专业博士生指导教师，吉林大学工程地质研究所所长。曾任建设工程学院副院长（2013-2020，主管研究生教学）。1985~1992年在长春地质学院水文地质与工程地质系学习并分别获得水文地质与工程地质专业学士、水文地质专业硕士学位，1999年于长春科技大学（现吉林大学）获得地质工程专业博士学位。2011年5月至2012年5月在The University of Mississippi访问学习。

现兼工程地质学报编委、吉林大学学报（地球科学版）编委、吉林省学位委员会第四届学科评议组成员、吉林省高等学校本科教学指导委员会土木建筑水利类专业教学指导委员会副主任委员、吉林省地质灾害防治工程协会专家委员会委员，为国际工程地质与环境协会(IAEG)会员，中国工程地质专业委员会委员。
