To continuously and thoroughly implement the spirit of the university's special work conference on postdoctoral affairs, promote the high-quality development of the postdoctoral work in the school, and cultivate more reserve talent forces that meet the development needs of the school, the School of Construction Engineering held a mobilization meeting for postdoctoral policy promotion on March 29. The meeting was presided over by Professor Cao Pinlu, the deputy dean, and more than 60 people participated, including doctoral supervisors, postdoctoral researchers currently in the postdoctoral stations, and doctoral students of the school.

    Professor Guo Wei, the dean of the College of Construction Engineering, gave a presentation and interpretation of the national and university-related postdoctoral policies. He elaborated in detail on the new requirements and measures, application eligibility conditions, optimization measures for the selection mechanism, salary and benefits, and future exit policies of various projects, such as the "Dingxin Scholar" Talent Introduction and Dispatch Special Program, "Dingxin Scholar" Postdoctoral Program, Project-funded Postdoctoral Program, and the National "Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program". He also made arrangements for the specific postdoctoral work of the school. Dean Guo Wei emphasized that the doctoral students of the school should focus on the major national needs and the cross-integration and innovation of emerging technology disciplines, reasonably determine scientific research and key technology directions, and lay a foundation for their rapid growth in the future.

     This mobilization meeting for policy promotion was concise yet comprehensive, considering the overall situation, pooling consensus, and inspiring the participants. It has pointed out the direction for the future postdoctoral work of the school, as well as the construction of the teaching staff and talent cultivation. All the participants said that they had benefited a lot and were more motivated. It is believed that through this mobilization meeting for policy promotion, more outstanding students will join the postdoctoral team, accumulating strength for the future development of the school and contributing to the national strategy of becoming a scientific and technological powerhouse.
