In order to further promote the revision of the 2022 version of the subject training program, the college held the 5th working meeting on the development of the 2022 version of the subject training program on January 8, 2022 at 14:00 in 319 of the Water Engineering Building, which was attended by members of the teaching committee of the college, department chairs of each department and all members of the training program working group, and was chaired by Executive Dean Guo Wei.
Firstly, Mr. Bo Kun, the leader of the working group of training program, reported the progress of the 2022 version of the subject training program to the teaching committee of the college and the department chairs, and detailedly interpreted the preliminary draft of the 2022 version of the training program, and made arrangements for the next step of work.
Executive President Guo Wei gave full affirmation to the preliminary work of the Training Program Working Group. He emphasized that the revision of the training program, based on adhering to the characteristics and historical heritage of our college, took the common standards and supplementary standards of engineering education accreditation as the first guide for the revision, based on overall optimization and outstanding characteristics, fully implemented the student-centered education model, and was well prepared for the future professional accreditation work of our college.
Finally, the participants expressed their opinions and held a lively discussion on the training objectives, graduation requirements, curriculum system, practical courses and credit hours in the training program, and put forward their suggestions and recommendations on the next revision of the training program around the teaching quality standards of undergraduate professional classes and the requirements of engineering education accreditation.
The working group will further sort out the problems in the process of revising the training program and reflect on improvement measures. The meeting was held to provide the foundation and support for revising the 2022 version training program of our college.
