The bells of the New Year are fading away, and spring has come quietly. In order to celebrate the 113th International Women’s Day and the 100th Women’s Day in China, enrich the spiritual and cultural life of female teachers, cultivate their sentiments and improve their accomplishment, the union and women’s committee of the college organized a “March 8th” flower arrangement activity with the theme of “Flower Arrangement for Wonderful Days” in the afternoon of March 10th.
Under the professional guidance of the flower arrangement teacher, everyone got to know the various types of flowers and the principles of flower arrangement. According to the teacher’s explanation and based on the principles of hierarchy, color and primary and secondary relationship that should be paid attention to in the process of flower arrangement, everyone made full use of the characteristics of the flower materials in their hands and tried their best to use their imagination to prune and cut the leaves, design the shape, match the color, choose the flower position and adjust the decoration. Each teacher was focused and immersed in the creation. From time to time, there were happy laughter and everyone was enjoying the spiritual pleasure. Gradually, the basins of flower arrangements were displayed in front of everyone’s eyes, which was very enjoyable.
The pots of staggered, distinctive and creative flower arrangement works were slowly presented in front of everyone’s eyes, which was very delightful. The whole activity, the fragrance of flowers and smiling faces complemented each other, and the atmosphere at the scene was warm. At last, the activity was successfully concluded in the laughter of everyone. We all expressed that this activity made us enjoy, enhanced communication, and learned the art of flower arranging and improved our aesthetic and artistic interest. We all had a wonderful time in learning beauty, appreciating beauty and creating beauty!
