The College of Construction Engineering has become a member of Towards Excellence in Engineering Curricula for Dual Education(TEEDE) since 2016. Prof. Liu Baochang is in charge of the program at Jilin University(JLU). The program is a sub program of Erasmus+ initiated by EU, supported by EU-Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
Members of the program include 16 universities and research institutes from Spain, Germany, Finland, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Cambodia, India and China. The program aims to explore dual education from university and enterprise, establish its specific cultivation plan and foster high-level inter-disciplinary talent.
From July 31 to Aug.3, 2019, 24 teachers of 14 universities from Spain, Finland, Italy, Germany, Russia, India and Cambodia participated TEEDE conference held in Cambodian Institute of Technology.
The conference is chaired by Prof. Laure, Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in Spain. Associate Prof. Bo Kun and Li Siqi, a Master candidate from College of Construction Engineering introduce the work at JLU, on behalf of the faculty and student.
Take the program as a opportunity, College of Construction Engineering will continue to expand exchange and cooperation with counterparts in EU, and conduct investigation in human resources market. More efforts will be paid on the publicity and implementation of TEEDE, to attract more colleges from JLU to join and enhance the inter-disciplinary talent cultivation. Over these years, the college advocates exchange and cooperation with top universities in the world, learning advanced education ideas.
Thanks to this program, the college draws lessons of dual education from EU universities, improves collaboration with enterprises on talent cultivation and academic research, and strengthens exchange and cooperation with universities from EU and Asia. Cultivation resources, such as teacher,curriculum and training are shared and remarkable progress has been made on the exploration of university- enterprise cooperation, and talent cultivation.
